Oakes Recruitment Limited is acting as a Recruitment Agency for our clients and we are currently looking for qualified and experienced Legal Secretaries:

We currently have positions in Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Bungay

 

As the Legal Secretary you will be able to provide full secretarial and administrative support ensuring all duties and responsibilities are conducted efficiently.

 

Duties will include:

 

  • To deal with routine matters, correspondence and queries on own initiative including time recording as required
  • To liaise with client counsel, and court and other third-parties as required
  • To arrange conferences/meetings as requested
  • To type correspondence and legal documentation, to clients, companies and to solicitors.
  • To make appointments for the solicitor, booking rooms for meeting and arranging refreshments.
  • Taking messages for the Solicitor accurately from clients, companies and other contacts.
  • To cover other Secretaries in their absence
  • To attend meetings if the Solicitors are unavailable
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required

 

Skills required:

 

  • Audio typing skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative
  • The confidence to liaise with clients
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Conveyancing experience is preferred but not essential
  • Must have previous Legal Secretarial experience.
