Main purpose of job:

Assisting the Fuel Team Leader in the safe and efficient delivery of the fuel into the plant, complete day to day operations in order to achieve maximum output, whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure that safe working practises and procedures are adhered to within all areas of work.

  • Complete routine and non-routine operational maintenance activities as directed and in line with the approved processes and procedures.

  • Complete fuel sampling routines, including from each arriving load.

  • Control movement of vehicles around the site.

  • Oversee the procedure of safely unloading operations of delivering lorries.

  • Monitor the fuel distribution.

  • Complete daily equipment checks.

  • Investigate plant problems alongside your team leader, identify solutions and undertake routine and non-routine maintenance.

  • Prepare and present reports, maintaining appropriate records within recognised systems.

  • Complete accurate and concise shift handover, ensuring all relevant parties are updated on plant operating conditions.

  • Operate fuel process plant and equipment in accordance with operational procedures.

  • Adhere to the SHE Management System at all times.

Objectives:

  • To participate in the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Management System within the production teams of operations, maintenance, fuel reception and ash disposal.

  • To have a competent person status within the Safe System of Work.

  • To be a skilled operator of the fuel and ash systems and any other all associated systems.

  • Be self-motivated and work with all staff in the prevention of work-related accidents and actively participates in raising and reporting of near misses (CAR reports).

  • Ensures the correct use of tools and equipment (Applying LOLER & PUWER).

Skills, Knowledge and experience

Min of 2 years in a production-based environment

SHE qualifications, IE IOSH working/managing safety

Good verbal and written communications skills

Competent level IT skills

The Ideal Candidate will be meticulous and able to ensure that the products manufactured by the company meet industry and legal standards. Experience in CMM (coordinate Measuring Machine) operating and programming is advantageous. Carrying out Goods in and Goods out inspections for all component parts entering the company, to ensure compliance to design specifications. Able to spot non-conformance and identify the root cause, corrective and preventative measures, then communicate with the relevant departments to resolve the issue. Confidence and experience in undertaking Quality Control testing of products manufactured on site and supplying non-conformance reports. Assisting in accurately collecting and inputting data when required. Also, potentially, assisting with Quality audits.

The ideal candidate will have experience in using hand held measuring equipment.

Good verbal and written communication is imperative in order to liaise with other departments and produce relevant reports when required.

Previous experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications is essential. And

assisting in collection and input of data. Striving for continuous product improvement. Recognised Mechanical engineering qualifications.

Duties to include:

  • Full housekeeping and laundry – ironing, hand washing and sending clothes for dry cleaning Getting the children ready for school

  • Running occasional errands (post office, pharmacy etc)

  • Cooking for the children. Happy to try new healthy recipes. Occasionally helping to prepare dinner for the principals

  • School runs 

  • Receiving deliveries

  • Organising the children’s diaries

  • Preparing the children for bed/bath

  • Helping children with homework and reading

  • Attending playdates, out of school activities, including afterschool clubs

The successful candidate will join our client’s team in Lowestoft to enhance the bookkeeping service provided to their clients. This will involve working on a variety of bookkeeping assignments for clients across a wide range of industries and sizes and will include the preparation and submission of VAT returns and the preparation of management accounts.

You will be taking on the responsibility of a very busy desk. You will be a main contact point for your clients, and you will be responsible for keeping them up to date and reporting to them progress

Bookkeeping can be carried out across a range of different accounting packages, with Sage and Quickbooks Online being the most common. Some experience in at least one of these packages is considered essential for the role.

Most assignments will be office based, but there will be opportunities to carry out some work on-site.

The role requires good communication skills as there will be a need to liaise with clients over queries to ensure accurate reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible to different managers and partners on a client-by-client basis giving them access to a wealth of expertise and support.

Experience in a similar practice role would be an advantage, but we will consider candidates with experience in industry as well.
